More than 1,500 design, engineering and construction professionals turned out for the 12th Annual Honblue Pacific Building Trade Expo, co-sponsored by the Honolulu chapters of AIA and CSI on October 4th. Attendees enjoyed a full day of stimulating seminars, industry networking and a showcase of new products, materials and services from nearly 250 exhibitors.

Our hats off to title sponsor Honblue, a generous supporter of Expo each year, and to this year’s Ke‘o Ke‘o, Kaimana, Kula, Ku‘uipo and Momi sponsors.

We also are grateful for the donation of prizes from the Expo planning committee and these companies: DD/Great Spaces, Reflections Glass, Custom Building Products, Joann Toy/Durkan, Big Rock Manufacturing, Bella Pietra/Geobunga and Hallmark Collective/Pacifica Sourcing.

It takes a tremendous commitment of time, talent and resources to ensure that the Expo remains the state’s premier building trade show. A dedicated organizing committee, chaired by Stephen Nash AIA FCSI and John Fullmer AIA CSI, stepped forward to produce another successful event, backed by a team of volunteers who made sure the Expo ran smoothly, from registration to the final prize drawing at the Aloha Reception.

To the hundreds of AEC professionals and exhibitor companies participating in this year’s Expo, thank you for making the time to attend.
