Michelle Wendler, AIA
Principal, Waltry Design, Inc.
|
| Description |
Parking is the first and last experience people have at projects, and should be designed into the overall plan. Parking is not a destination in and of itself, but an introductory point for users who become a pedestrian in the building or development and walk to their final destination. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, the firm has completed over 425 parking projects. Wendler will also share the need to have the parking design integrate with other public transportation nodes; this assists with getting people where they need to go, and minimizes demand for parking itself.

A principal with Watry Design, Inc., Wendler serves on the Board of Advisors for the International Parking Institute, and has worked extensively with parking structure design, construction documents, and construction administration since 1989.
