Description
The panel will discuss the building design and functions, the health-related aspects of natural light, cleaner/sustainable systems, and cultural value in visuals as well as engrained in the site and building concept. Speakers will address how the building influences those who work there and the community around the structure.

Biography
Phillip Camp, AIA, LEED/WELL AP, is the principal of HI.ARCH.Y LLP, an architectural firm with offices in Honolulu and Los Angeles. In addition to being a licensed architect, LEED accredited professional, and WELL accredited professional, he is an A.E.E. registered C.E.M. – Certified Energy Manager. Over the last two decades he has completed a multitude of award-winning high density residential, mixed use and commercial office projects including the LEED Platinum Certified Keauhou Lane Project. He was the local shell and core architect for the recently completed ASB Campus Tower project in Honolulu.

Lance Murata is the regional director for View Inc, a smart glass manufacturing firm with offices in Honolulu, HI, headquarters in Milpitas, CA and manufacturing facility in Olive Branch, MS. He is an alumnus of the University of Hawaii (BSEE) as well as University of Southern California (MSEE) and University of California, Los Angeles (MBA). Over the last two decades Lance has held several sales and marketing positions in high technology companies including IBM, TRW and technology start-ups, CampusDocs and Velocium. He helped manage and oversee the successful delivery of View glass for the ASB Campus Tower project in Honolulu.

As Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of American Savings Bank (ASB), Beth Whitehead champions ASB’s employee experience with the goal of creating a great place to work. In her role, she develops programs and benefits that provide opportunities for teammates to fulfill their careers within the bank. Beth recently spearheaded the brand new ASB Campus, a building that in 2019 brought together approximately 650 teammates from five locations on Oahu in an innovative, collaborative workplace.
