NAVFAC Pacific Business Opportunities in Hawaii, Guam and Australia

This presentation will describe NAVFAC Pacific's mission, vision and business functions with a focus on business opportunities, including FY18 volume of business and FY19-FY20 projections for the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. In addition, NAVFAC Pacific will provide an overview of expected business growth in Australia, the national defense focus on shipyards and the significant volume of work that has now started in the Guam construction program.
James (Jimmy) Miyamoto, PE, is the deputy Operations officer at Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific (NAVFAC PAC) and has 30 years of experience in the Navy shore infrastructure business. He oversees delivery of all NAVFAC products and services throughout NAVFAC Pacific and its subordinate commands in Hawaii, Guam, Japan and the West Coast of the United States. Jimmy earned a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and graduated from the Executive Management Program at the University of Hawaii, Shidler College of Business Administration. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Hawaii.
